Justin Bieber and Cody Simpson hit the studio this week to work on their upcoming albums!
Both Justin and Cody have albums due out in 2012, and Cody has mentioned in the past that they were planning on working together.
Well it seems like they finally found some time for a serious studio session, joining forces in the studio on Wednesday.
Cody wrote on Twitter, “chilled with the mate @justinbieber in the studio tonight. look for some great records coming. #AustraliaToCanada #CoastToCoast”.
And Justin tweeted, “alot of good people in the studio tonight. been working hard.”
Justin’s manager Scooter Braun, who is also working with Cody, added, “in the studio with the boys tonight. good times”
And a photo of the boys together has surfaced on tumblr and Twitter – although we don’t know where it originally came from. We’re pretty sure this is the first photo we have ever seen of Justin and Cody — it’s a pity we can’t see Cody’s face!
Do you think they’re working on a song for Cody’s album or Justin’s ‘Believe’? Our guess — Cody’s album. Imagine a Cody song featuring Justin! It would be off the hook.

After months of teasing fans about a possible collaboration – Cody Simpson and Justin Bieber have finally got together in the studio!
In a Twitter post that got us super excited, Cody said
“Good time in the studio with @justinbieber @iamjulkeyz @itsmattgraham @kennyhamilton. #2012 we’re coming.”
The teen stars were also joined in the recording den by Justin’s producer Julian Swirsky, his bodyguard Kenny Hamilton and Cody’s co-manager Matt Graham.
The news comes just weeks after Cody, who’s currently on tour in America, revealed his “amazing plans” to work with Justin.
“I’m actually in the studio working on my album and we’re going to be working with him,” he revealed earlier this month.
“We have some amazing plans for next year.”
But as far as imitating Justin’s musical style 14-year-old Cody insists he wants to be “totally different.”
“I want to be a totally different artist,” he added.
“I respect him and I have nothing but amazing things to say about him, but every artist wants to be their own and wants to create their own style of music, their own sounds, their own show and stuff.”
“Justin has been really supportive,” he said. “It’s a great relationship that we all have at the moment.”
We can’t wait to hear what these two come up with! So exciting!
