It’s a good thing Selena and Justin have reunited! Justin’s tour mate, Cody Simpson explained to HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY that he’s so thrilled to see the couple back together — especially because of the positive effect Selena has on the Biebs. Keep reading for more details!
If there’s anyone who knows what Justin Bieber was feeling and who witnessed firsthand how he was acting after Selena Gomez split up with him in December 2012 it’s Cody Simpson, who opened for Justin on his “Believe” tour. And Cody wholeheartedly believes that Justin and Selena’s reunion is for the best, especially in Justin’s case.
Selena Gomez: ‘A Great Influence’ On Justin Bieber:
“It’s good to see that Justin and Selena are back together”, Cody told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY at the Radio Disney Music Awards on April 27. Cody explains that Selena really rubs off on Justin and makes him a better guy. “She’s always been a great influence on him,” Cody says. “She’s amazing every time I’ve met her when I’m with him. She’s a super sweet girl,” he adds. Cody’s just like the rest of us — glad to see Jelena working things out. “I’m happy for them,” he concludes.
Justin Bieber: Melting Down Without Selena Gomez:
It’s hard to argue with Cody’s point about Selena’s positive effects on Justin. In the months after he and Selena split up, he took on a noticeably different, “bad boy” persona.
It started off lightly with Justin just taking off his shirt a little more, but things quickly escalated. He was involved in a drug scandal, he was accused of assaulting his neighbour, and he actually collapsed on stage in the middle of a concert (that one might not be his fault though). And oh yeah, he visited the Anne Frank Museum in Amsterdam on April 13 and wrote that he hoped Anne “would have been a belieber.”
